Anyone find it interesting how Manafort was gone from the Trump campaign 48 hours after Trump received his first classified intel briefing?

I did some digging and the Manafort-Ukraine news all came out within the same week.
Considering that the FBI had been monitoring / investigating Manafort since (or in) 2013, I suspect it would present some sort of giant liability if that fact wasn’t included in the intel briefing.
Also remember that Hillary received the same briefing Aug 17, 2016 - right around the same time all the Russia stuff started heating up. This is the first article I could find about Manafort and “secret ledgers,” published by the NYT three days before Trump’s intel briefing.
One thought is that they knew Trump would see the briefing and fire Manafort, so they began trotting these breadcrumbs out around the same time, then went full bore with the Trump-Russia BS. Quite frankly Manafort could have been a plant in the Trump campaign to try and ensnare him.

We have been ‘monitoring’ elections around the world for years.
I guess when ‘we’ do it it is for the good of mankind.
I often wondered what the reaction would be if say Burma sent monitors to OUR elections.
It is becoming more apparent every day why the private server was in use and it wasn’t for convenience.
At what point does the carpet become inadequate to cover all of the dirt? Eventually, the swamp will have to sacrifice a half dozen or more medium to high ranking “lambs” in order to save themselves. (Lois Lerner and higher???)
