SLC got off too easy.
Good to hear, but the money should have come out of the officer’s pockets or pensions. As long as it’s just the taxpayer taking it in the shorts, this kind of thing will continue. There needs to be some actually accountability that attaches to the officers.
This is NOT a case of a “cop screwing up”. This is unlawful use of police power. The thugs in blue wonder why people shoot them.
