I guess we don’t have all that many FREEPERS in NYC?I've lived all but one year of my 60 in NYC. Went to a community college a couple blocks from the incident (Borough of Manhattan Community College).
Just heard on the radio, via press conference: 8 dead, at least 12 injured. Perp 29 years old. No name released yet.

I used to work in Lower Manhattan near Chambers Street. Was there when they bombed the WTC the first time, and on my way in on 9/11. Moved from Crown Heights a week or so before the pogrom. Had I not, and had I survived the pogrom, I would have been on time for my job in Lower Manhattan on 9/11, instead of commuting in from Far Rockaway. This is all too personal, even though I left NY years ago.
