Not so much nuts as stone cold stupid.
How is that any different than what’s (not) happening in Trump’s presidency? Hillary and friends and donors are not being indicted.
The untold story in all of this is that if women simply refused to sleep with powerful men, harassment would have stopped years and years ago. My point is, if a man says,”You can have the part if you sleep with me”, then he’s a dirtbag. But, if the actress agrees to those terms, then she’s a dirtbag too....because now she’s using sexuality to deny other actresses work.
In the end, the men will always look the worst and perhaps this is how it should be, But, women have had an uncanny way of playing both sides of the coin in this situation and coming out loooking clean. Life is a complicated process. Nothing is black and white. Hollywood is a place where people...men and women.....lust for power, sex, money, and fame. Most normal men and women are disgusted by over indulgent behavior of all those involved in that world.
With that said, Hollywood has made a lot of great movies. Like I said. Nothing is black and white.
They said if Donald Trump was elected, scandals over sexual abuse would plague society!

I believe Amber Tamblyn previously starred in a TV series called “Joan of Arcadia.”
The premise was that God appeared to, and spoke to, a young woman in California. Sometimes God took the form of a white teenage boy, a black woman cashier at a cafeteria, etc. etc.
It was different than your usual Hollywood fare, but didn’t last all that long as a series.

The length of time it takes some to come forward pertains to whether they thought the allegations were going to die down and everything would go back to the way it was, they wouldn’t risk their necks before that.

I glossed over that but you are so right. It is face palm time when you realize that she is criticizing Trump, while overlooking the behavior of Hillary which mirrors the behavior of the women who kept silent. If she were sincere in her thankfulness of what has transpired, she would publicly thank the people of America who elected Trump so that so many women could bring the ruthlessness of Hollywood executives into the light. And honesty would compel her to pound home the point that if Hillary had been elected, the women who had been abused would continue to endure their emotional hell in silence, knowing that they and others would continue to be victimized by Hollywood executives. And, if by any chance she had supported Hillary, she should ask for forgiveness.

Not really. I am hopeful about it, but we’ve been stung so many times.
That is a brilliant point. She is basically saying that if Hillary had won, Harvey would go on raping and groping, and the women would continue to be silent. Such courage!
