I've heard that during apartheid a black man being abused by a young white boy was not allowed to tell the lad off or be at all rude. I wondered how that kind of racism could be allowed to happen among a supposedly liberalized society.
Now we see a black football player insulting cops, and a cop at a Halloween party is in trouble for poking some fun at him. So I guess I see how it can happen.
Its just the elephant in the room...the absurdity we are all supposed to agree with or the busy bodies who think they are better than everyone else will descend on us I suppose.

RENO — A UNR Police officer joked about shooting a graduate student and former football player during a peaceful traffic stop, leading the department to place him on paid leave during an investigation.
UNR released video captured by an officer’s body camera late Wednesday after a complaint from the black student, later identified as former defensive tackle Kevin McReynolds.
Two white officers pulled over the car he was riding in with several other students. One officer says, “I’m glad you’re not fighting, you’re too big,” and everyone laughs. The other officer, who is now on leave, then says, “Right, I’m like, I’m just going to shoot him if this goes sideways.” The group stops laughing.
