All but 10 members of the Houston Texans took a knee during the national anthem Sunday, as the vast majority of the team protested the owner’s “inmates running the prison” comment... It appeared that all of the black players on Houston’s roster took a knee, while at least one white player — Ben Heeney — also knelt... The majority of Seattle’s defensive line continued to sit as it has for most of the season. Before Sunday, very few Texans had been protesting other than on Sept. 24, when 200 players around the league protested following President Donald Trump’s criticism.

This is going to turn out badly for everyone. Fans lose something they enjoyed, stadiums lose money, owners may find less people who want to invest in a mess, players won’t be tapped to do commercials, lots of things to consider. For me it’s like having an ex. Yeah there were good times but who wants to go back to that?
Do they still play football these days? Haven’t seen/watched a single game this season nor do I intend to. I have lost all interest in those fools and their “protests” and have no intentions to waste a dime on anything connected to them. Their sponsors will eventually be seeing a loss in revenue when the rest of the nation decides to “boycott” the stupidity as well.
Is it possible that all the kneelers on the Texans actually had a ACT or SAT score to enable them to be admitted to any selective college or university? A ten year-old child should know better than to stick their finger in the eye of their boss. Oh, I forget this is the NFL.

Desired athletes are exempt.
The words “inmates” and “prisons” hits too close to home with these guys - given that their fathers, brothers, cousins, and possibly themselves, have been all been wards of the state at one time or another.
So why are those people in the stands still showing up?
I’ll be more indignant when they stop giving money to this sport like idiots.
