Sorry, but you are simply making stuff up. The WS has always had plenty of 7-game outcomes. Over the past 7 decades the at least HALF of each year's WS went to 6-7 games. If anything, the last two decades have seen slightly FEWER series going to 6-7 games. It turns out that your assertion that MLB has worked it so the WS goes to more 7 game outcomes in recent years (for TV revenues) is entirely false. Don't believe me? Here are the actual numbers:
