Will We the People express outrage on this latest move by Progressives? GEORGE WASHINGTON is the FATHER of our nation.

My immediate reaction was disgust because I thought it was Pohick, not Christchurch Alexandria. But, it’s just as well, that church doesn’t deserve any claim to fame via association with George Washington, it’s a pale, corrupt imitation of the church he knew.

Liberals are playing the altruistic human now, while engaging in evil at every opportunity.

This must be the plaque that the church removed...
READ THE INSCRIPTION:
Following his family’s church tradition in England, when John Washington died, he left to the church a tablet of the Ten Commandments, on which he inscribed:
“Being heartily sorry from the bottome of my hart for my sins past, most humbly desiring forgiveness of the same from the Almighty God (my Saviour) and Redeemer, in whom and by the merits of Jesus Christ, I trust and believe assuredly to be saved, and to have full remission and forgiveness of all my sins.”

It is important to understand that the plaques will not be moved to a storage area,
the vestry noted in its letter. Rather, they will remain in the church until they can be
relocated to a place of respectful prominence where they will be fully visible to
parishioners and tourists alike. And ultimately, they will be incorporated into a
more complete presentation of our long and many-faceted history.

“Express Outrage!!” Surely the oath so many of us have taken—as required in many capacities—to defend the Constitution, requires more than simply smoldering expressions of outrage. The Preamble states a purpose in total conflict with what has been going on, with respect to the Founders “Posterity.”

This is extremely enraging. And just imagine how bad “history” is in public schools and so-called institutions of higher learning as it is.
All fedgov $ should be divested from all colleges and universities yesterday.
And monuments, plaques and statues of historical figures should be off limits. This kind of crap makes me want to beat the s*** out of the feral vermin that do this.

It's only a matter of time before they target Mt. Vernon. And Colonial Williamsburg -- geez, the blue-ness of Virginia makes me wonder how CW has lasted this long. Of course, the last time I was there (3-4 yrs?), there were more lectures/events that centered around women and slaves than anything else. And the actor-directed "discussion" in the pub was centered around the inequal treatment of Native Americans and women.
To be sure, I still consider these sites to be some of the best avaiable and I'm glad my daughters , by way of locality, have been able to see them more than once.

When you disrespect your history, you disrespect yourself.
Clearly these people don't consider Washington to be part of their history. They don't consider our colors to be their colors..

I still think the ‘best’ one is the group that believes in 1 MAN + 1 WOMAN consists of a marriage. is going to be ‘punished’.
The group is located in Georgetown University, the oldest CATHOLIC church in America.
Throw in another kicker..
The young lady that is pushing this ‘novel’ idea says she can’t figure out why someone would be attending a Catholic University would be against Catholic traditions.
She didn’t even get to bring up the matter of covering the statues when certain ‘guests’ are at the University.
Oh...the young lady says she ISN’T Catholic....
