Most likely he had no real last name, and didn’t speak english when he came through immigration. They asked him “Name?” he said “Mohammed”. Last name? He doesn’t understand and just says “Mohammed” again. That’s how you get a “Mohammed Mohammed”.

Little Mohamed brought the fake bomb to school on 9/14/15, the Monday after 9/11.
Not just the kid and his dad but the entire bunch. An older sister was expelled from her school the year before for bomb threats. Why the heck we didn’t yank the parents’ citizenship at that time is beyond the pale.
