WSJ Editorial Board Calls on Robert Mueller to Resign from Russia Probe
Big Journalism ^ | 10/26/17 | Adam Shaw

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board called Thursday for FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller to step down from his role in investigating alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, saying that he lacks the “critical distance” to analyze recent revelations about the FBI’s role in the saga.

“It is no slur against Mr. Mueller’s integrity to say that he lacks the critical distance to conduct a credible probe of the bureau he ran for a dozen years,” the Journal’s editorial board wrote. “He could best serve the country by resigning to prevent further political turmoil over that conflict of interest.”

The board was writing in response to recent reports that suggest the FBI uncovered evidence of the Russian bribery and money laundering in the U.S. ahead of a 2010 decision by the Obama administration to greenlight the partial sale of the Canadian firm Uranium One to Russian energy giant Rosatom. The deal transferred control of 20 percent of U.S. uranium stocks to the Russians.

Liberals do not recuse themselves. They have to be recused by others. Instead liberals investigate themselves and never find any wrong doing.

But WSJ though it was OK as long as the investigation was targeting Trump and pushing liberal lies.

Not so good when it turns against Hillary and turns up the true facts.

WSJ ain’t interested in facts.

I see this as a ringing endorsement of Mueller. The WSJ has been a #NeverTrump Swamp media outlet for a long time.

It will never happen. Mueller’s real job is to cover up the rot at the DOJ. He will execute this role zealously.

I call on Mueller to arrest himself and kick his ass on the way to jail.

Nevermind that Mueller's FBI covered up the Uranium One deal. You think that Mueller should be investigating the role of the FBI coverup.

Mueller's job as a Deep State spy is to monitor everything Trump does. The 'Russia investigation' narrative is only cover for the Deep State getting as close to Trump as possible so they can closely monitor his activities.

NO. Keep Mueller. He is occasioning a lot of good results. Things are not going at all as he would like but just because he is the Special Counsel investigating Russia stuff he is the reason all the Clinton corruption is coming to the surface where it is much harder for the MSM and the Press to bury it.Their guy who went in as the Destroyer of Trump has had the ground pulled sideways under him and his office is getting credit for the Uranium scandal becoming unavoidably public even though it is going past him instead of through him.

Mueller was chosen precisely because he knows what evidence needs to be buried.

Rupert Murdoch’s personal anti-Trump blog, WSJ, had no trouble whatsoever as long as Mueller was thought to be targeting Trump for fake crimes, but now that Mueller appears to have moved past that into investigations of REAL crimes committed by top Democrats, suddenly WSJ is all worried about his “integrity”.

Is it possible that the WSJ’s sudden call for “integrity” is because Mueller is secretly working for Trump as proposed by Larry Schweikart here:

Mueller is probably kicking himself in exasperation the way this is all falling out but he has been the occasion of some very good work. Sessions’ recusal and Trump allowing an Obamanite to appoint M and then letting him continue when most of our guys were calling for him to fire the guy is all part of what Trump didn’t set in motion, but he understood the possibilities of it and being a canny New York successful developer and businessman, he kept it going and controlled the feed.

If that was really Mueller’s job, the WSJ would want to leave him there forever.

Robert Mueller’s witch hunt needs to be shut down.

One of the reports I saw in the last couple of days suggested that Trump actually considered hiring Mueller to replace Comey. Take that for whatever you think it’s worth.

How about subpoena and indict Mueller, the “Russian uranium bagman”, instead?

Roy Moore would have been his best choice for FBI.

Now with nothing coming of his “investigation” as far as we know, the dems know that the next best thing that can happen here is for Trump to fire Muller so they can scream cover up.
