quite frankly for a true fiscal conservative to vote no, I understand. This little side not really bothers me. We complain about the increasing deficits, especially when Obama in office. This has a 1.4 trillion shortfall. I am not excited about the budget, and will give a pass to any fiscal conservative that voted no on that reasoning.
The proposed budget would also allow Senate Republicans’ tax reform bill to add to the federal deficit over the next decade, as long as it does not exceed $1.5 trillion.
Noticed a theme there. Hoping Bannon plans to target New York and New Jersey RINOs hard and relentlessly. Those big city A-holes need to go.

If taxes go up even on blue states i don’t see how that helps Trump or the GOP with the state and local taxes deduct going away. He needs thier votes also
Don’t be so harsh. This vote was rigged so that the budget would pass even though many Republicans in Democratic districts were under local pressure from their constituents to oppose it. Notice how many of these House members are from states like NY, NJ and PA.

I live in a district represented by one of the House members on this list. If my representative loses to a Bannon candidate in the primary I can guarantee you that the GOP will lose the seat to any Democrat including Harvey Weinstein.
These blue states are big spenders, have way higher taxes than places that have no state income tax, so they right off their big state taxes, and cost shift the tax burden to red states that operate more fiscally sound policies.
Simply said high tax states get tax relief for their high public service wages and benefits on the backs of us frugal
spenders.
Maybe not being able to have us pay for their drunken spending will sober their taxpayers and make them more frugal too.
Ya take what you can get.
Peter King represents a district that probably has the highest state and local taxes in the country. He’s going to oppose any budget or tax bill that threatens the Federal deduction for these taxes. That’s probably the same reason for every GOP “No” vote in NY and NJ.
Only 2 are west of the Mississippi!!! (There’s still a “War on the West” among even the Repellicans)
Eleven of those “no” votes are from NY and NJ. They probably voted no because their constituents don’t want to lose the local tax deductions.

Every single one needs to be primaried.
My Congressman is not the problem here. My fellow citizens in this district are.
State and local taxes are such a huge issue here that the Democrat Party is getting alarmed about the possibility of losing a governor's election here next week that the GOP candidate has no business winning. These GOP House members who voted against this bill may have helped the Republican candidate immensely. She's basically running on two issues: her opponent is a big advocate for illegal aliens, and has promised to hike taxes acros the board.
John Katko is NOT a big city Republican.
He’s represents the Syracuse/CNY area district.
If state and local taxes are not allowed as deductions, those trapped in liberal states could see no benefit to this tax plan or could even see this as a tax increase. After years of carrying Republican water this would suck. On the political side, Trump needs to call his first TV address and tell everyone to watch their congressman vote and remove them from office if they do not support. It would be epic.
Be smart about. Some of those RINOs may be the least bad we can get out of their district. The alternative may be a new speaker who thinks Pelosi was too conservative. We may be able to improve some of them, but for this kind of problem the best solution may be to increase the numbers of conservatives in other districts, thus rendering these RINOs toothless.
