This two-hour live event will educate Christians on how they can bring hope and leadership to their communities in a critical cultural moment.

We went to the Q Commons event LAST YEAR, before the election. These events were held via satellite at churches throughout the nation. There was a national segment followed by local discussion. Then, another national speaker.

Finally, there was a time of "table talk" where you discussed issues with each other.

One of the national speakers LAST YEAR was the fabulous Ravi Zacharias.

The other national speakers were ostensibly supporters of the two nominees: Ross Douthat for Shrillary, Kirsten Powers for Trump. The problem was that these two sat and discussed with each other how horrible both choices were, but the "vibe" was DEFINITELY that Trump was worse.

Of course, the "conventional wisdom" was that HRC was a shoo-in. The few of us who were openly pro-Trump had a hard time not getting up and walking out.

Well THIS YEAR the Q Commons folk are a bit more blatant with their Trump hate. They appear to have shed the idea of orthodoxy in Christianity--Ravi or anyone of his ilk is noticeably missing. Who is the featured speaker? None other than the Perfectly-ironed-pants-crease admirer, the Obama lackey himself, David Brooks.

Wow.

My advice: either avoid Q Commons or go prepared to advance the cause of conservatism and true orthodoxy against the nonsense of liberation theology.

IS Q COMMONS A CHRISTIAN EVENT?

Q Ideas is rooted in Christian values and doctrine. Q Commons will be focused on equipping both those of the Christian faith as well as those who do not identify as Christian on how to thoughtfully engage culture and advance the common good in their communities.
. . . . . . . . .

That was a Yes or No question.

Visited the page. Has a very non conservative, “good” christian as opposed to a “God” Christian feel.

Thanks, but no thanks.
