The Washington Post published a bombshell on the discredited Trump dossier on Tuesday.
As
Kristinn Taylor reported earlier on The Gateway Pundit the WaPo article claims the 2016 presidential campaign of Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee paid for the Fusion GPS dossier alleging Russian ties with the presidential campaign of Republican Donald Trump and sordid phony personal smears of Trump.
The Post reported that Clinton campaign and DNC lawyer Marc Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie paid Fusion GPS to continue researching Trump after a Republican donor who originally funded the research pulled out in April 2016.
In true Democrat fashion, the DNC split hairs by saying:
Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in any decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization. But let’s be clear, there is a serious federal investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, and the American public deserves to know what happened.”
Screenshot via Brooke Singman of Fox News:
So the new leadership had nothing to do with the dossier? What about the old leadership? It sounds like the DNC is throwing the DNC under the bus.
It’s also fun to watch the DNC try to distract by bringing up the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory in order to distract from the media firestorm currently battering Obama and Clinton over the Uranium One scandal.

The DNC is now playing word games.
The “NEW” leadership has nothing to do with this. So let’s ignore, pretend it did not happen and get Trump in other words.
I think this wishful thinking on their part.

They will claim that Perez represents “new” (post Wasserman-Schultz) leadership, but the organization remains the same, and any “leader” of the DNC is merely a titular title.

Perez is covering his ass. He knows that everyone knows that Little Debbie was part of creating the dossier. Perez just wants to keep himself from being dragged into the scandal.

DNC lawyer Marc Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie Hmm, Perkins Coie. Where have I heard that name before ? They were the ones involved in getting "BC" from Hawaii and defending Obama in the BC cases.

And remember, there are 20 Democrat congressmen who can be called up on to stop covering for DWS in the Awan matter, if they decide to sacrifice her. At some point it’s going to be “every man for himself” in the Democrat ranks.

Stating the obvious: whoever owns Senator Flake activated him the other day to deflect this story & allow the networks to focus on his nonsense & put aside the dossier story.

Xochitl Hinjosa?
Must be another one of those Amish names.

Surely if a “corporation” violated some “environmental” laws but fired the CEO and got a new guy, these same people would shrug their shoulders and say, “lets just move on”, right?

There is no question Flake and McCain are part of a conspiracy to steal the presidency from the people. Comey is as thick as thieves with them. I will never forgive W either, for giving cover to a filthy un-American pack of coyotes.
