Free at last. Free at last. Thank G-d Almighty, I'm free at last!
For those not in the know about TX state politics, Speaker Joe Straus is a RINO's RINO. Worse than Paul Ryan. Year after year he has stood athwart the conservative tide in the Texas legislature and said "Stop!" He held power by allying himself with the 'Rats and a rump cohort of 'Rat-like GOP which gave him enough votes to overcome the majority of GOP who wanted him out.
RINOs are dropping like flies.

Absolutely. Best news I have had all year.
Straus needed to go, long long ago.

Once, Corker, is happenstance.
Twice, Flake, is a coincidence.
Third time, Strauss, is planned action.

This guy (Stauss) is in no way, no how a republican much less a conservative.

I would like to understand why he is not running? He was untouchable with all the alliances he had. I’m glad he’s going, but i wonder why.
