The hefty sum although still a fraction of his fortunes will be directed for the solving of two main areas of personal concern for Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan: widespread incarceration and unaffordable housing. The funds will come from the personal coffers of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), a limited liability company that outwardly reflects a foundation.
You can make change, but in order for it to be sustainable, you need to build a movement to support it, Zuckerberg said in an interview with The New York Times around the time of Plouffes hiring. No amount of private research or philanthropy is going to shift that. At the end of the day, the government has far more resources than any individual organization does.

" No amount of private research or philanthropy is going to shift that. At the end of the day, the government has far more resources than any individual organization does." SMDH! Guess markee mark still doesn't understand just where the government resources come from. But, if he wants to toss out $45 million, it's his money. For more cheap housing and less incarceration.
'In order for something to be sustainable, it has to be sustained.'
Lifes lottey? Missed it by that much.

I’d like to see affordable housing built in HIS neighborhood! Hey Zuckerberg, why don’t you let some of the refugees and the poor of this country come stay in your compound for free?

How does FB earn money? Is it from selling personal information? If that’s the case do FB users have the right to know who it’s sold to?
Or is it completely government owned? Or both?

Why is widespread incarceration of interest to Mark Z?Just signalling to the other elites. They want to round us all up and put us in concentration camps.
To: rktman
We ought to encourage people like Zuckerberg to throw their money away. It’ll be that much less for other mischief.

Id like to see affordable housing built in HIS neighborhood! ............................................. I would be satisfied to see one go up in Chappaqua NY. A 6 story high apartment complex would work fine.

$45 million for Zuckerberg is equivalent to one of us stuffing a dollar in the Salvation Army bucket at Christmas. The difference is that none of us do it and say “Look at ME!”
