Parents 'livid' over graphic middle school sex-ed
WND ^ | 10/23/2017 | Alicia Powe

'Mom, it's like instead of them telling us how to not do it, it's like they gave us a road map'!

Parents are outraged after discovering their children were being taught about “mutual masturbation” and “anal sex” in their Oklahoma public middle school.

Students in Jay, Oklahoma, were given sex-ed handouts from Lighthouse Pregnancy Center teaching that there are “four types of sex.”

The graphic sex lesson handouts were culled from a program called “Shape, Sexual Health Awareness, Prevention and Education.”

According to Oklahoma’s KWTV News, the superintendent said the curriculum that contains this “lesson” is being used by several other area school districts.

Concerned parent Mandy Callihan called attention to the graphic junior high school lesson plan on Facebook.

“Her father and I were (and still are) LIVID.

“Yes, Jake and I contacted the school immediately (the teacher, the principal, the counselor, and the school nurse). We were told that ‘pamphlets’ were sent home a week ago letting parents know that they were going to be discussing sex education,” Callihan wrote.

“We never saw a pamphlet … so we didn’t have the opportunity to get her out of the class before it started. Signatures for permission were NOT required, but you could opt out (depending on who you talk to, because we got different answers on the permission part). This ‘pamphlet’ they keep talking about tells me a couple of things … mainly that we have educators, and administrators, in our school system that need to be educated on how to properly let parents know about such a touchy and personal subject …”

Public school is no place for a child.

“X rated warning”

I’ve debated for three days about putting this on FB, but finally decided too for one reason: we still haven’t gotten an acceptable answer.

I’m so sick to my stomach over this, and I’m worried that there are a lot of parents that have no idea that this has been taking place in Jay Middle School this week (7th and 8th Grade). If you were aware of the classes, and the material being taught, and you are okay with it—then good for you (that is completely your decision, and I respect that). Jake and I did not know. Before I start, please let me get something straight: I’m taking my teacher hat off for this post (even though it infuriates the teacher in me also). I am after all, a mother first. So the following is a Momma speaking, and a very mad one at that......

Like I said, Jake and I didn’t know. At least not until Wednesday, when our TWELVE year old daughter called (in tears) asking to be checked out. She had just spent her third day in this class, where boys and girls are combined, and male and female instructors take turns “teaching” our kids about sex education. Obviously sex education has taken a huge turn since I was in school. My daughter handed me a workbook, a workbook that she was supposed to be bringing home each night so that parents can continue the conversation about what was discussed in class. She hadn’t done that....and in her shaky little voice, said “she was too embarrassed.” She begged me not to make her go back to this class. After opening the workbook, I understood why. I was appalled at what what someone in our school system had deemed appropriate to talk to my child about. My TWELVE year old child (who still colors in coloring books). In a room where boys and girls are combined. With male instructors (or female, depending on the time of day, I guess) who are not teachers (or Nurses) in our school system.

Her father and I were (and still are) LIVID.

{..snip..}

That doesn't make it OK, that only means that the problem is much worse than anyone thought.

The classic "The other kids did it" excuse.

“Underwear zones” — In educators’ minds this must be ok because they didn’t use the P or V words.

This filth in Jay Middle School, in Jay, OK, a town of 2400 people. Everyone in the school administration should be fired for this outrage. If taxpayers had any spine, they would have closed the school until a decent group of individuals could be found to take the place of these evildoers.

“Sex Ed Lesson Upsets Green Country Parents”

http://www.news9.com/story/36609941/sex-ed-lesson-upsets-green-country-parents

A graphic sex education lesson has some Green Country parents upset after they said the lesson told their 12-year-old children different ways to have sex.

Jay Superintendent Kenneth Bridges responded saying, “Facts: …

- “The “curriculum” you have referred to was developed by the Connection Institute, a division of LifeChoices Health Network.

- “It is being (and has been) used by at least five other school districts in our area including Grove Public - Schools for five years.

- “It was presented in our school by the Lighthouse Pregnancy Center (Jay, OK) starting last year.

- “The Jay Board Of Education approved this program last year (September 13, 2016) on a 5-0 vote as well as its presentation by Lighthouse Pregnancy Institute.

- “I was not here last year; this is my first year back in OK (home) after being out of state for several years.

- “I had no knowledge of this program until Thursday, October 12, 2017 and had my middle school principal discontinue the program on Friday, October 13, 2017.”

Honestly, that is what made me shake my head. They can use terms like “Anal sex” but then sanitize it by saying “underwear zone”.

"no idea", because it's the government's job to educate kids, right?

In my hometown recently, a female teacher took a bunch of female students back to her house to show off her dildo collection. The schhol board proceefed to cover up and obstruct. Long story short, the teacher got away with it and is still teaching.

Strangely enough, they did use the V word and the phrase Underwear Zone, and they used them in the same sentence.

“X rated warning” but very important information for FReepers to know - we have no idea what these crazy people are teaching our children unless the kids spill the beans, or we get ourselves into the schools and monitor.

It’s called setting the kids up for the sexual predators, most of which turn out to be adult male queers. Odd isn’t it? One would think about how the infiltration of the Boy Scouts and priesthood had some pretty serious consequences, at least they were once considered serious. Now maybe, just a sexual preference.

And in 2014,...

A parent, William Baer, attorney, gets arrested for going beyond his allotted two minutes and then got into an argument with a parent who supported the book.

Baer was charged with disorderly conduct.

Here is what he was so upset about...

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/05/06/new-hampshire-school-defends-sexually-graphic-novel.html

A sexually graphic novel that 14-year-old English students have been assigned to read at New Hampshire’s Gilford High School – without their parent’s knowledge.

“She could feel his erection, hot against her stomach.”

“’Yeah,’ he groaned, and he pushed her thighs apart. And then suddenly Matt was inside her, pumping her so hard that she scooted backward on the carpet, burning the backs of her legs.”
