True Story:
in 1979 my buddies and I decided to work in the Oil Field in Rangely Colorado. We all grew up in California, and one of my friends Mom had remarried to the Big Boss of the Oil Company there, so we got Jobs quickly.
While driving through the rocky mountains one day near town the Sheriff pulled us over. He immediately asked us if had any weapons, to which we replied Yes, unloaded and behind the seat. He then ORDERED us to LOAD our Weapons and Put them in the Gun Rack so He KNEW we were armed. They were sick and damned tired of retrieving the remains of Unarmed Humans in the Rocky Mountains getting attacked and eaten by Wildlife.
