No Sh!t Sherlock.
Just wait until next year when the season ticket holders drop out.

I quit last year when this crap started and the league did nothing.

The NFL hates America and America noticed.
Now the feeling is mutual.
There is nothing they can do now to repair their image.

It would be a good time to start a new football league that puts forward a patriotic America loving image.

Yep. This is not Ron Artest getting into a brawl with a fan in the stands. This is not a bunch of players trying to get an edge through doping. This is a business siding with certain employees who are giving their customers the finger. Damage control after they realize what they’ve done is not going to fix it. I’ll never come back.

That is worth repeating. Over and over. The first two lines should be printed on t-shirts.

One would anticipate HOLLYWOOD is watching closely the tide of this debate. They aren’t doing so hot at the moment either.

WE ARE WINNING, and heading off to bed realizing that fact ALMOST dissipates the nightmares the prior administration gave US every evening as they stood in our HALLOWED HALLS of DC

For this year...I think the merchandising arm of the NFL is the one area seriously hit (wouldn’t surprise me if they are 50-percent off from previous years). Advertising rates for TV can only be guessed but I’d say they are taking a 10-percent loss as a minimum).

But come spring of 2018 as season ticket sales would occur....I think you are correct. Discounts will have to be offered. Some teams will offer deals of pay the price of three tickets, and get a 4th free. For the lesser teams, like the Browns...I think they are going to be in serious financial trouble by fall of 2018.

As for the real damage? All of this leads to what I think will be a league cut on pay by 2019, and some major strike to occur. The union will find no public support for the players and the strike will finish off whatever enthusiasm existed.
