Otherwise, you're just playing Dr. Feelgood with yourself, as no one will know or care that you're not watching if you don't have a polling meter in your home or are surveyed by phone (one in a billion chance....)

You're doing the same thing by wasting time writing letters. They probably wipe their butts with your letters. I don't watch the NFL any more because I find it offensive. I'm not making a statement.

"You're wasting your time writing letters....they probably wipe their butt with them".

Not true....letters via the post office are the best vehicles to send complaints to a business or corporation. They are opened, and usually counted as to "pro" or "con" or whatever applies.

Phone calls and emails are less effective, however they, too, are counted and totals forwarded to management.

You have chosen not to make a statement to voice your displeasure with the NFL except to post about it to the echo chamber here...well, to each his own.

I wrote a brief, but strong letter to Ford as I own one of its products and mentioned that fact in the opening line.

Don't think for a moment that businesses and corporations have "customer service" departments for nothing....they are tuned in all the time to complaints, suggestions....and boycotts!

I've posted many times on this board that (unlike liberals) conservatives are, with a couple notable exceptions, generally lousy at boycotts....and your attitude is one of the several reasons why.
