The dog that's not barking for me is Vanity Fair. When I read the magazine in the mid-2000's, primarily for the excellent Dominick Dunne pieces, you couldn't help but stumble over this or than coverage of Harvey Weinstein. Today, though the magazine still exists, they are more of a website and an e-mail newsletter operation, but still with awful politics. They send out a daily e-mail blurb called "The Hive" which has the motto "Where Wall Street, Washington and Silicon Valley Meet". They kinda dropped the Hollywood part. And I suspect they are just dreading the day that some journalist looks back over their coverage of Weinstein, because they sucked up to the guy and uncritically promoted him like no one else.

I like Dominick Dunne too. Have you read his “The Way We Lived Then”?
