Way too many coincidences: That one hour movie of Lee Harvey Oswald spouting about his "Fair Play for Cuba" organization, that several thousand word report Oswald wrote about his stay in Russia (in an appendix to the Warren Report) which reads exactly like a Contact Report, the astounding assassination of Oswald in a police station in less than 24 hours, etc., etc.

OK, I gotta use a couple kollege words. If nothing else, the release will give closure to those on the left and the cottage industry that sprang up, unable to accept the prosaic fact that a lefty crank, all by his lonesome, murdered Kennedy.
Like the X Files, they are invested, they want to believe that it could only be some arcane plot by numerous shady actors in some nefarious, mysterious plot involving Texas oil men, LBJ, the CIA, fascists! (the anti-faggots sure have been quiet lately) and aliens to assassinate sainted John, Joe’s second choice.
I will be interesting, though, to find out why the CIA has its panties in a knot over the release (finally); probably something embarrassing there for our CONTROL/men from UNCLE agents/spooks.
If those files would have meant WW3 it just might have been smart to keep them secret. Was JFK worth it?
There may be discussions of Operation Northwoods and Mongoose contained in these files, as well as names of participants that may still be alive today. Would bode ill for family members still in Cuba.
