Isn’t it amazing, that crosses and memorials and Confederate monuments stand for centuries, but then , in this politically correct era, suddenly these objects violate constitutional rights. They don’t just offend the sensibilities of liberal radical does, they actually go to court and File lawsuits over them.

I heard someone suggest they chop the arms off of the cross, then it wouldn’t be a religious symbol anymore, and then would pass muster with the atheist types who file these lawsuits.

It is a calculated war on Christianity by the left. Stalin made the church his target when taking over the Soviet Union. The far left anti-christian communists continue that war today.
So if a muslim soldier was buried in a veterans cemetery and requested the Islamic crescent on his headstone, that would be considered a government endorsement of Islam. Any ole observer might not even know that it is a religious symbol. You cannot make such an assumption. What if the “observer” was Hindu...does he know it a Christian symbol? Not likely.
