Anti-Establishment Candidates Gear Up Across the Country

As the 2018 campaign for control of the U.S. Senate takes shape, a bevy of populist-nationalist candidates are competing for the primary endorsement of a pro-Donald Trump super PAC.

“Great America PAC is building the ‘Trump Ticket’ for 2018 and we are proud to support these candidates who have answered the call of their fellow citizens,” Ed Rollins, chief strategist of Great America PAC, said in a Tuesday press release.

Great America PAC and its sister 501(c)(4) “Great America Alliance” are confident they will come to define the anti-establishment wing of the developing Republican Party civil war. “We will be the vehicle that runs real ground campaigns and ads in those states,” Eric Beach, co-chair of the Alliance, said earlier this month.

So far, Great America has endorsed candidates for Senate including former State Sen. Kelli Ward in Arizona, businessman and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Kevin Nicholson in Wisconsin, U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee, State Auditor Matt Rosendale in Montana, State Attorney General Patrick Morrisey in West Virginia, and former Chief Justice Roy Moore in Alabama.

Dr. Kelli Ward – Arizona

Doctor and former State Senator Kelli Ward faces a contentious primary against sitting Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) next year.

During a campaign rally last week, headlined by nationally syndicated radio host and soon-to-be Fox News host Laura Ingraham and Breitbart News Executive Chairman and former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon, Ward described herself as a “liberty-loving constitutional conservative who is ready to go to Washington, DC, and drain the swamp.”

“Who wants to build the wall?” Ward asked cheering supporters in Scottsdale Tuesday.

The Amnesty Senators MUST GO!

Corker is quitting.
Flake, Hatch and Heller must be repealed and replaced in 2018.

Graham and Alexander’s turn is in 2020

Murkowsky, Hoeven and Rubio in 2022.
McCain will be dead before then.

Hugh Hewitt said Dr. Kelli Ward is not capable of being a senator, andif she beats Flake, a Democrat will take that seat.
I was so angry when I heard that. I tweeted him that he was wrong and should interview her.

He talked about Flake’s conservative rating. I guess it doesn’t matter that he voted for McMuffin and is blatantly anti-President Trump.

How many have as anti-establishment the past couple of decades only to become part of the establishment? Hint: They usually start their re-election fundraising within a few months of being elected.

I’m no fan of Hewitt, but as an Arizona resident who contributed to Dr. Ward’s failed run against Senator McCain, I’m afraid he may be correct. Flake is very unpopular among AZ Republicans, so may very well lose the primary to Dr. Ward.

However, she will then be up against Kirsten Sinema, who will likely be a formidable opponent. KS has been a US Representative since 2012, and has vigorously worked to become widely known outside of her base in Tucson.

Sinema’s a woman, a Mormon, and a political centrist (US Chamber of Commerce endorsement), all of which play well in this State. She’s also an open bisexual (Local appeal? Not so much).

Donations to Ward’s campaign will be needed if she’s to have a better chance at her Senate run this time.

Kyrsten left the Mormon Church after graduating from BYU. She apparently wears her bisexuality as a badge of honor. See http://www.elle.com/culture/career-politics/a12563/arizona-congresswoman-kyrsten-sinema-profile/

I stopped listening to Hugh Hewett last year when he jumped on the Never-Trumper bandwagon. He apparently jumped back off sometime after that, but who cares? I’m not surprised he did that to Kelli Ward. Total RINO.
