In the 70s, when they built the first pipeline that went through "pristine" habitat - guess what?

All along the pipeline there was this green space created by the warmth of the pipeline. In the deep winter, all these animals had grass to nibble on through the winter when everything else was iced up.

Yes, my fellow Americans, the pipeline actually saves animals lives.

Yes, and it was warmer allowing the caribou to calve there increasing their survival rate. The last I checked it had increased by 50%.
