Thomas Farr moved one step closer to being a U.S. District judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina on Thursday over protests from the Congressional Black Caucus and several progressive groups who say he has worked to defend discriminatory laws.
The SenateJudiciary Committee voted down party lines, 11 to 9, to clear Mr. Farr for a confirmation vote with the full Senate.
But before the committees vote on Thursday, the top ranking Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California voiced opposition to the North Carolina attorney, citing the Congressional Black Caucus letter to the committee alleging Mr. Farr has worked for decades to disenfranchise African-American voters.
It is no exaggeration to say that had the White House deliberately sought to identify an attorney in North Carolina with a more hostile record on African- American voting rights and workers rights than Thomas Farr, it could hardly have done so, the Congressional Black Caucus letter read.

Is there proof? Why, oh why, isnt Big Media decrying the Democrat obstructionism against Republicans, like they did decried the obstructionism against Obama and the Dems???
Yep, the enemedia is not going to go against the CBC no matter how far out they are and seldom goes against any Dems.
How does the White Congressional Caucus feel about this judge?
Is he OK with the Yellow Asian Caucus, Tan Hispanic Caucaus the white Italian, Irish, German, Hungarian, French Caucus, the American Indian Caucus, the fake American Caucus, the Tri gender Caucus, and the forever Secaucus caucus? One caucus for everyone, and we should call it the united caucus.
