George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.

At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

Did you expect any different?

Fake conservatism, fake Constitutionalism, fake pro-gun, fake pro-life, fake patriotism...this is the profile of candidates that the establishment causes to be nominated in the absence Trump (& a few others). Trump is many things, good and bad, but the greatest thing about him is that the establishment hates his guts.

Indeed. It was a brief reprieve...albeit a horrible one! :-)

It certainly won’t be easy straightening it out.

And let’s not forget that he prosecuted and imprisoned two Border Patrol agents who shot a drug smuggler, agents Ramos and Compean. Just one more example of Bush putting Mexico First.

Everyone seems to love globalism and free trade except the American people.

The families of the 58000 dead from Kennedys war might say otherwise.

The only external terrorism that Saddam directly engaged in was against expatriot Iraqis whom he believed were threats to his regime. This information is in the Iraq Study Group report sponsored by Bush after Gulf War II. No one reads it so Saddam’s terrorism gets reported as something akin to Al Qaeda’s, which it wasn’t.

Saddam was a Baathist, not an Islamist. At times he would throw a bone to the Islamists but it wasn’t what motivated him.

Pardon me. Trump is not orange. That is lighting on his hair.
He is a very successful business mogul and entrepreneur who happened to host The Apprentice.

Obama is a Muslim gay Kenyan. And he is a liar and imposter.

You are correct. For image purposes, from time to time Saddam would throw a bone to the Islamic terrorists. Saddam was not interested in state sponsored (external) terrorism.

Iran is and was.

I always got a laugh when he was mentioned during GW’s Iraq war years.

FFS. George, ANYBODY would seem bullying in comparison to your limp-dicked organization that never defended itself about anything, couldn’t communicate simple concepts about enormously important things, and basically was so inept at presenting itself that all Obama had to do was say “I’m black, and I’m not Bush” to win a landslide.

You are the least-qualified person to ever comment on anybody’s message and method of communication of it. Furthermore, people like you are the reason ONLY someone as straightforward as Trump could be elected. Not that I mind a straightforward President that defends himself, especially after watching 8 years of you. Go back to retirement, and never show your face again.

"I'm not going to spend my time criticizing [The President]. There are plenty of critics in the arena. He deserves my silence. "I love my country a lot more than I love politics, I think it is essential that he be helped in office."

I remember when Michelle Obama had the unenviable task of trying to control Retard George at a public funeral. He was twitching and writhing and blurting out nonsense. I almost felt sorry for her.

I’ll go further for you.

He kept quiet for 8 years while Obama dismantled the country, but emerges to criticize someone truly trying to fix it?

He was a rotten president, increasing our debt and trying to shove amnesty down our throats. If it weren’t for Tancredo and Hunter and other heroes in the House, he’d have us even more invaded now.

He’s so full of sour grapes at Trump making a fool of Jeb that he’s willing to join Jeb in looking like an idiot. And showing he cares more about the one-world- government than our country.

“Hopefully, President Trump will ignore his bad advice.”

I think he will not only ignore it, he will have something to say about it. I can’t wait to see what.
