No, but there are limits to just how stupid you can perceive your own child to be.
She sounds just like her kindred spirits in the NFL - clueless on how the story keeps building and hoping people will leave them alone. The good news is they get their wish. More and more decent Americans are leaving the NFL alone, just as they left this coffee shop in droves.
Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders had a vegetarian restaurant in her hometown of Akron OH. It failed. When I chatted with Gerry Casale of Devo at a comicon he said the food was good but they just didn’t attract the business. (A nice Italian food place, Luigi’s is nearby..great sausage pizza.
A sad lesson for the Mom. She accomplished something I’ve always dreamed of; a licensed restaurant in a nice area of the city, equipped with sufficient staff and actively serving the public. Then to have all that flushed down the cultural toilet ‘overnight’ because of her indiscreet, blabbermouth, attention-whore daughter is terrible.
The Mom must have known what kind of person her daughter is, but was busy running her business and didn’t intervene.
Not wanting to stereotype people, but have you seen the daughter’s photo with that pizza-sized tattoo on her thigh?
That tells me she requires constant, intense attention in order to feel content. The attention doesn’t have to be positive, just intense is good enough.
Mostly only within the Rt. 128 belt.
Outside of that, you'll find a great many Conservative Massatuskites. Especially in my neck of the woods.

I am always disappointed when a place like this is a long distance away from me. I’d love to have dropped off a nice fresh whole red snapper somewhere innocuous on premises to remind them that it stinks to insult the police.

This poor woman has had to pay for tuition, books and fees not only for herself, but also for her maleducated, malcontent child, too.
Hopefully, these lessons are taken to heart this time. The do overs are even more expensive.
