The roads appear to predate the cross.
It doesn’t make sense that they would put the cross where nobody could see it.
That cross has been there my entire life. I hate to see this travesty. If the families of all the men who died had no objections to a Christian cross in memory of the dead, who are these judges to decide it is offensive? Why couldn’t they allow that small piece of ground to be sold to a private foundation, as has happened with many other Christian monuments?
