While President Trump’s frequent claims of fake news are often mocked by the media, a recent Politico/Morning Consult poll shows that almost half of U.S. voters, 46 percent, agree that the media literally makes up news stories about Trump and the Trump administration.
Only 37 percent of voters think the media does not make up stories about Trump and 17 percent were undecided on the issue.
A large majority of Republican voters, 76 percent, think the media fabricates stories about Trump, while only 11 percent of Republicans don’t think so. Even 20 percent of Democrats agree that the media makes up stories about Trump, however, most Democrats, 65 percent, disagree.
Forty-four percent of independent voters think the media fabricates stories about Trump, while 31 percent think they do not.
Trump tweeted at NBC last week over their report that he wanted a tenfold increase in the U.S. arsenal which he called “pure fiction.” Defense Secretary Mattis called the reporting “absolutely false” and “irresponsible.”
Trump also questioned if it was appropriate to challenge NBC and other networks’ broadcasting licenses over all the fake news.
Voters, however, tend to disagree with Trump’s suggestion of revoking licenses. Just 28 percent think the government should be able to revoke broadcast licenses of major news organizations that it says are fabricating news stories about the president or his administration. Fifty-one percent think the government should not have that power and 21 percent are undecided.
The poll was conducted October 12-16, “surveying 1,991 registered voters. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.”

The facts are there for everyone to find out, but of course, there are many who will not take the time, or who do not want to know how corrupt the media has become.
Everyone knows the media is nothing more than the Democrat Party..they ALL voted for Clinton, they ALL voted for Obama..so watching the news is like watching the talking points from the Democrat Party..they lie about EVERYTHING

Well, plenty of people voted for Hillary as well. Don’t believe they are all stupid; the 47% mentioned by Romney profited from the nanny-state promised by Dems.
Here in NJ they are explaining away ObamaCare increases (which were accurately projected to rise steeply years ago) on Trump’s recent adjustments to ObamaCare; some believe it because they are stupid, others will believe it because they hate Trump (read: They’ll repeat it as truth, but don’t believe it), and others know it is an outright lie.
You can’t even trust the media to give you a correct weather report. To get people to tune in, they’d rather give a scare report of frost warnings when the only spot in the tri-state area that can rightly expect frost is one high mountain.
Maintaining this level of ignorance requires either serious effort to avoid reality, or the IQ of a lawn ornament.
