For anyone who has never picked up Tocqeuville’s Democracy in America...I would strong recommend the book. It ought to be mandatory reading by every kid in the country by age sixteen. I think on Kindle, it’s down to 99-cents.

I mostly agree with Rush, but what deToq saw was the working of the people unfettered by oppressive leadership.

What is actually happening now is not that Trump is doing it all, he is merely working as our Founders intended and that is to make sure that the people are not hindered.

Ronald Reagan did this and the people responded by doing what they do best and our economy soared as well as almost every other indicator of a healthy society.

That is what our presidency was designed to do - hands off and let the people do it.

That is what deToq saw in the American people in 1835.
