A federal judge in Hawaii blocked President Donald Trump's latest bid to impose restrictions on citizens from eight countries entering the United States, which had been set to take effect this week.
The open-ended ban, announced last month, targeted people from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chad and North Korea, as well as certain government officials from Venezuela. It was the latest version of a policy that had previously targeted six Muslim-majority countries but had been restricted by the Supreme Court.
U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson on Tuesday granted Hawaii's request to temporarily block the federal government from enforcing the policy. It was supposed to take effect at midnight Wednesday.
Hawaii argues the updated ban is a continuation of President Donald Trump's "promise to exclude Muslims from the United States."

I don’t know if they can be jailed but I was thinking the same thing which is enough is enough. This is nothing but a political operation run behind the black robes of some court room. When does a superior court slap down these asshats?
Watson is a slow learner.
Why oh why has this not been struck down with prejudice already? The President demonstrably has the authority to determine who can and cannot enter the country, and is allowed to do so on whatever basis he deems necessary. On top of this, it’s patently obvious that North Korea and Venezuela are not even minority-Muslim countries, so Muslim immigration from those countries is therefore negligible and the ban cannot be said to target Muslims.

And Congress should impeach and remove this wayward errant judge.
At this point, this judge is an enemy combatant—working for the Left.
This communist judge will not allow Trump to ban travelers from North Korea which is building an ICBM to kill us all? And somehow a ban which doesn’t apply only to Muslim countries is now also a Muslim ban? Sure maybe all 50 states should each determine foreign policy with North Korea.
Of course the judge should be impeached but we have a congress which is now 50% or more Socialist Communist.

Congress has full power over the “inferior courts.” Its time to stop being so ball-less, and elimate a few of these “circus” courts to demonstrate power belongs to ELECTED representatives.
Since the judge is in direct knowing and purposeful opposition to direct USSC rulings against him, this is grounds for impeachment.
Of course. What they want is for Trump to defy the court so the liberals in both Congress and the media can blast him for being above the law.
He needs to let the AG handle this. The SC has already allowed his previous Immigration order to remain pending a full hearing before the USSC and I am of the opinion this lower court ruling will be reversed.
