I’m so tired of this half-baked nationalism crap!!! /s

McCain hosted leaders of the Al Nusra front in Syria in order to build support for the "Arab Spring". It wouldn't surprise me if he makes the "Democratic" overthrow of Duterte by Islamists his swan song pet project.

I know he had a couple of buildings downtown manhattan and probably swiss or grand cayman money. He lived opulently for a few decades and I believe made some of his friends billionaires. m Unfortunately not my inlaws. My original pout was there was much that Manilla needed that he didn’t seem interested in.

Still lots of commies and muzzies around, I hear.

Keep your head on a swivel.

I do keep my head on a swivel, and surround myself with friendly Filipinos. I see a few Muzzies around here, but they generally don’t bother anyone. They know they are not well liked.

In response, the mass media narrative will be “Trump tries to curry favor with dictators,” when in fact it’s basically the reverse. Strongmen like Duterte respect strength and decisiveness while despising weakness and dithering, which is why they detested Obama while being willing to work with Trump.

WOW! We were fighting those bastards, ISLAMIC MURDERERS, in the Philippines back in 1988! I KNOW - I was there!

Of course, the Philippines FINALLY got a leader that actually wanted to HELP the Philippine people...not just themselves!

Thank God. for both!

There was a HOLY PRIEST from the Philippines who lived in Dallas TX (Shrine of St Jude). His first assignment in the Philippines was to go convert the Moslems. This was Father Santos Mendoza. He died in the United States.

yes. Thank the Lord.
The TV ere had film of the soldiers returning to Manila.
There are still a few hidden there, alas and lots of mines and booby traps that have to be cleared before the folks go home.
But the liberals here are aghast that the two leaders were taken out by a sniper. Shhsh. Their deaths essentially broke the resistance, but never mind It wasn't fair they couldn't shoot back

The libs cry similar stuff when the cops shoot armed drug dealers who don't manage to kill the cops first. But that's another story.
