Any guesses how many honey buckets one fatboy is filling with human fertilizer at this moment
Need to find Ted Striker’s speech to his girlfriend about his coming mission over Macho Grande.
McCaffrey may be right. It’s going down next summer.
Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We’re bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We’re coming in from the north, below their radar.
Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?
Ted Striker: I can’t tell you that. It’s classified.
China will side with the Norks.
Question to anyone, slightly off topic...
During the last Iraq War (2003) I recall that about half a dozen Apaches got completely ripped up while leading an assault on a fixed defensive position.
As I recall, the commentary at that time was that anti-aircraft fire had become so effective that, in the future, attack helicopters would need to stay on the periphery of the battlefield and fire rockets and ordnance only in support of the attacking troops.
Has that perspective changed at all?
Have there been any technology improvements that make the Apache less vulnerable as a front line attacker?
“Back in June it was reported that the U.S. and South Korea were training their special forces to track down and assassinate Kim Jong-un in the event of war as part of a joint operation.”
Thanks Sorks, let them know the assets we have in place.
