The Universities have long ago become power centers for the Left.
In fairness, most of the hard science departments are the least political. But who apportions the budget? The administrators, and they tend to be very political.

In the old days you knew there was going to be a lot of drinking going on, on or off campus. Guys would get rowdy and it was party-time.
The Leftist vent was there, and it was bad enough then. Today it’s just out of control. We read about what is going on. It’s unacceptable.
Today, you have other things besides beer and hard liquor. Kids leave home and are introduced to just about any sordid thing that exists in the nation.
These are often the first times in a kid’s life when they are on their own. They are exposed to choices most adults aren’t confronted with.
It’s just a real shame.
If I had to send a kid off, it would be to Hillsdale or some such. They may not get the top ranked education, but they’d survive. They wouldn’t be exposed to the disgusting things kids are our major universities are. And then there’s the drugs.

Yes, our tax dollars are going to enterprises dedicated to taking down the United States.
The sciences might be better, but you can bet the farm the kids are being brainwashed about global warming and whatever else is on the Leftist’s front burner.
The other dirty little secret is how much state and fed money goes to fund the faculty cocktail and fufu buffet socials, cell phones, laptop computers, and other electronic goodies for faculty, and the U president and senior staff's trips to France, Switzerland, and Germany for "business". Somebody needs to be auditing that crap.
