Many mainstream media commentators repeated the talking point that President Trump was dismantling “Obama’s legacy” Friday.
Hosts and pundits on MSNBC and CNN were not happy over President Trump’s tough talk on Iran Friday. Coupled with this week’s executive order on Obamacare, many in the media did not look thrilled reporting on the news that Trump was taking apart “Obama’s legacy.”
President Trump called Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.” He also floated the possibility of pulling out of the deal, but did not do so yet.
Iran has not violated the deal to America’s knowledge. However, the Middle Eastern nation has grown in strength in recent years, expanding its influence over Iraq and Syria, gaining the support of many Shia Muslims, and continuing to fund the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah.

I’m very gladdened that the Fake News Media is deeply saddened.
When your legacy rests on a series of executive orders with no legislative backing, your legacy can be erased by any president who follows you. True for Obama, true for Trump - if the GOP wants to capitalize on this golden opportunity to make the changes they have promised to make, they have the numbers in Congress to pass laws permanently overturning Obama’s legacy. If they remain gutless weaklings, the next president can bring back everything Obama did and do more damage on top.
No kidding! It is a delight to see!
I still say we don’t yet know a smidgen of the damage Obama and his ilk have done to this country during his reign of terror. The people who voted for that ahole are the true enemies of this country.
Trump goes “hey, lookie over here...I’m gonna take NBCs license away!” and the dummies do...meanwhile he dismantles the heart of Obamacare and de-certifies the Iraq deal.
But hey, what about that license? After all, he’s just living out the final days of his Presidency in layers of bubble-wrap til they invoke the 25th amendment....

And though I’m loving every minute of the dismantling of the anti-American, anti-freedom agenda of the past administration, Congress (McConnell/Ryan - so called “leadership”) need to take action to codify it into law or this is all for naught when/if a dem regime comes in. Which I’m half inclined to believe is what they secretly (or, not so secretly, want). I’m not sure the Repubs really differ that much from the Dems and it is a heck of a lot easier to parade around and complain as the minority party than it is to actually lead and make the tough arguments and decisions we need.
It’s not a legacy if it has no legs.

And Obama was carrying on Neville Chamberlain’s legacy, so the media is really doubly sad.
That’s the job Trump got hired to do. The media was counting on Trump acting like Obama.
