It stinks to high heaven.
bttt!
Perhaps the FBI will determine that the shooter had no criminal intent.
This is a conspiracy theory breeding ground. Seems like they are trying to encourage them.
I think the sheriff should resign and the someone new needs to take lead on investigating. Clearly they have no clue what they are doing, are likely overwhelmed, and are creating conspiracy theories because of their incompetence.
When did Barney Fife join the police force in Nevada?
It smacks less of bumbling than is does of deliberate obfuscation.
Actually it's likely Paddock used most of the 23 guns the police say he had.
They say he had 12 AR-style rifles with bump stocks. Also that some guns jammed on him.
He fired nine 100-rd bursts out the windows. He seemed to be aware that the severe heat of a non-stop 100 rounds through a semi-automatic rifle would likely render it unusable immediately afterward, and maybe the heat would warp some of the parts. So that's probably using nine different rifles for the nine 100-rd bursts. And say three guns jammed on him. That's twelve rifles used.
Plus whatever he was shooting through the door. Supposedly 200 rounds, maybe that's an exaggeration - people say the bullet holes look like .308. So perhaps another 2 or 3 or more rifles with 30-round mags were used.
Plus the revolver. So, Paddock probably used most the guns. Doubtful that this was a gun sale gone wrong.
When are we going to see all of the video recorded at the hotel?
I agree with Mark about almost everything, and specifically to this article, totally agree about the modern practice of press conferences when big disasters or crimes happen. Every lead cop from every involved juristion, with tag-a-long politicians, gallop to the nearest microphone to congratulate themselves while basically telling the public nothing useful.
