No, he’s DEREGULATING a regulation that was on the books
This goes back to one thing and one thing only, the attempt to make EVERY health insurance policy cover the same thing.
People are paying attention to the portions across state lines and association approaches but the BIGGEST way to reduce cost is to be able to offer the old-fashioned Major Medical policies that most of us remember from our younger days! Now the states will be able to let insurance companies design those plans again, which were effectively regulated out of existence to make us cover EVERYTHING in our policies.
Doing THAT ALONE is the death knell for Obamacare!
“No, hes DEREGULATING a regulation that was on the books”
Appreciate your informative post. FR is such a valuable place for getting the facts!
To the degree Trump is initiating legislative acts, he is imitating Obamas unconstitutional behavior. NOT GOOD!
Doing the wrong thing for the right reason is still WRONG!!!
THE issue in America isnt healthcare, it is THE CONSTITUTION, LIMITED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, and STOPPING FEDERAL TYRANNY.
When the Right violates the Constitution for the right reason they enable the Left to utterly dispose of the Constitution and establish REAL tyranny.
The answer to unconstitutional Obamacare is for the executive branch AND the states to simply NOT ENFORCE Obamacare until the American People FORCE Congress to act and legislate constitutionally.
To the degree Trump rejects and refuses to enforce Obamacare because it is unconstitutional, to that degree Trump is behaving constitutionally. But Trump must not create law through EOs like Obama did.
“Doing THAT ALONE is the death knell for Obamacare!”
Well, to be fair, ordering the IRS to not enforce the penalty pinched off the feeding tube.
Amen! As a woman, I don’t need to pay for coverage for a prostate exam. My fellow male colleagues do not need to pay for coverage for pap smears.
How right you are. Doctor bills were never more than a few hundred dollars, then Major Medical kicked in and paid everything else.
Doctors and hospitals were happy to accept insurance payments because they paid the actual bill, before Dr and hospital had to start padding bills to make up for shortfalls from Medicare and Medicaid.
