The Fast Food restaurant Arby's is expected to release venison sandwiches nationwide and elk sandwiches in select markets.
Arby's venison sandwiches will be available on Saturday, Oct. 21 in all 3,300 restaurants across the country, according to USA Today. In addition, a limited-edition Elk Sandwich will only be available in three restaurants in the states of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. Which includes:
200 East 144th Ave., Thornton, Colorado 80023
2607 CY Ave., Casper, Wyoming 82604
2834 King Ave. W, Billings, Montana 59102
"If people are interested in trying the sandwich, the only way to guarantee they can get one is to get there when we open or a little before and make sure they are in line, just like the folks last year," Arbys Chief Marketing Officer Jim Taylor said.
The fast-food chain reportedly uses a supplier in New Zealand that sells grass-fed free-range venison to make their sandwiches, according Taylor. He said the company used social media and feedback from hunters and to create the venison and elk sandwiches.
Think twice about what, Kevin? Food is food you idiot.
No thanks. Don’t like venison or ay other game meat.
Their Pork Belly sandwiches last year were out of this world. They need to bring those back.
The last time I ate at an Arby’s was around 1999. There was one close to work and I was tired of Burger King, Taco Bell, and KFC so I drove the extra mile for a beef sandwich. When I got it, the beef had a nasty reddish color and was coated with an oily sheen that had all the colors of the rainbow. Just like the 10W-30 before it goes into the crankcase. I’ll pass on this road kill.
Since nothing else at Arby’s is any good they just keep trying to introduce something new that might attract new customers. This one will bomb also.
Arby’s IS roadkill.
No more Arby’s for me! Wait.... I never go to Arby’s anyway.
Incoming !
I have absolute faith that Arby’s can f*ck up venison, too.
“We have the meats!”
I was wondering what they do with all the maggot-infested deer carcasses they scrap off the highway....
Now I know....
I’m a fan of their smokehouse brisket and will definitely try the venison. Our Arby’s is spotless and I’m happy to have a non-burger option for a change.
I hope they add an Arbys Armadillo Sandwich to the menu....uuummmmm. thats good eating.
Good ! Got plenty of the vermin here - ate my garden .....
Farm raised venison, or can you drag your in-season deer kill to their back door and sell ‘em fresh meat?
BOL!
Then what you’ve eaten of it hasn’t been prepared right (unless your a vegetarian.)
Nope, not a vegaterian. I’ve had venison, mule deer, and elk over the years. Whether they were prepared right or not, I didn’t like them, and have no need to try them again as there’s just too many other good foods out there that I can eat. I don’t like lamb, goose or duck, and I don’t eat liver, veal or any of the other crappy parts of animals. I don’t eat seafood either. Got sick on shrimp gumbo once. Never again. The only fish I eat is tuna fish, prime white packed in water, and that’s on a tuna salad sandwich or tuna melt that I make at home. I rarely eat out anymore, and prefer my own cooking.
