It was a significant week for Fox News. Not only was it the No. 1 basic cable network in total day, but it showed off a revamped prime time lineup, with Sean Hannity assuming the network’s 9 p.m. slot. Hannity, with help from some high-profile guests, got off to a very strong start. He defeated new time slot rival Rachel Maddow both in total viewers and the key news demo, en route to becoming cable news’s No. 1 show of the week.
Fox News would get even higher ratings if they went more conservative and got rid of a few of the lefties there.
I said from the beginning that Madcow would fade into obscurity just as Glen Beck did and for the exact same reasons.
Both rose to fame attacking newly elected presidents with outlandish made up crap, and Madcow will (and has already started) fall, just as Beck did.
Little CNN is disappearing.
Hey FOX, learn something from this. Your listening public does NOT want to listen to liberal horse-crap. Your “fair-and-balanced” agenda does not work for them.
Need more explanation????
POTUS.45 should have his own cable network for us old F@rt$ who don’t dig twitter/dunno tweet from a twaddle, etc, and don’t have that NWO chip implanted in our butts!
Semper Mr. Trump Cocked and Locked!

And to think, they tried to get rid of Sean just a few months ago.
Just shows there is a sizable market out there for conservative-based news programming in prime time. If FoxNews does not provide the content, hopefully somebody else will.
That 9PM "The Five" show featuring Juan Williams was the most awful thing FoxNews ever put in prime time. No wonder that Rachel Maddow was getting good ratings.
8-9 and 9-10 is the networks 1-2 punch.
Tucker taking on the outlandish liberal agenda by hosting opposition guests (mostly) and then talking them into a corner of a box where they reveal themselves to be totally vacuous.
Hannity picks up at 9 playing the good cop interviewing conservatives and reinforcing conservatism (in general).
What is Laura Ingraham going to do?
Jesse Watters is like Tucker Carlson but with more of a killer instinct. He dominates Juan Williams and I’m sure Juan has been griping about it. Juan can no longer just read the DNC talking points in the green room and repeat them ad nauseum because Jesse has been pinning that tail on the donkey since he’s started on the 5.
It’s good to see some passion on these opinion shows. That’s Fox’s + side. They don’t pretend to be reporting the news, just discussing it.
Now I would like to see Sheppard Smith get booted because he does pretend to be reporting news. Fox needs to find a black conservative willing to stick to conservative line of thought and replace Shep.
Who was the first guest? Bill O’Reilly!
Fox has recovered, I think, because the corporates there are perceptive enough to understand that their move to become CNN2 was going to bankrupt Fox News. They ceased trying to strangle themselves. Now they are trying to slip in a leftist here and there without any more public noisy dumping of Conservatives. The new guys can see that the Right side is what keeps Fox News solvent.
Rachel MadCow took the #1 position the night she claimed to have Trump’s tax returns.
The claim was about 96% hype, 4% substance.
Madcow kept the top spot for a while. Now grownup, mature thinking has returned...people realize MadCow is even fluffier than Hannity, and Fox is #1 again.
Laura’s very tough and competent, Shannon’s a cutie who handles her role very nicely; what’s not to like?
I really like Greg Gutfeld and The Five.
Fox still needs to move “special Report” out of the Swamp Sewer to get me back. It’s still : Breathlessly report the latest fake news anti-Trump story, and then talk about it endlessly in the Swamp Panel.
