James O’Keefe video has New York Times management reeling

Hats off to James O’Keefe and Project Veritas (donate here – please!) for another video that is rocking a major progressive institution to its foundations. This time, it is not Planned Parenthood executives selling baby body parts, but rather Nicholas Dudich, an unhinged editor at the New York Times (the video labels it “American Pravda”) boasting about his ability to get biased coverage published.

The video and a summary of its content can be found below.

So blatant is the self-described misbehavior that the Times tasked its Vice President of “Comms,” Danielle Rhoades Ha, with a response:

Based on what we’ve seen in the Project Veritas video, it appears that a recent hire in a junior position violated our ethical standards and misrepresented his role. In his role at The Times, he was responsible for posting already published video on other platforms and was never involved in the creation or editing of Times videos. We are reviewing the situation now.

Thanks James. But, still waiting for "THE" smoking gun video that will be their un-doing. After so many "gotchas" one would think some one in "authority" would shut some of these "enterprises" down. Guess there's not enough politcal will. Notice that the comms folks are putting the responsibility on a recent hire junior staffer. Kinda like no one knew harvey was a serial molester right. Lyin' king and moochie had NO idea. Really?

Oh, he violated their “ethical standards,” did he? Well isn’t that a shame.

Listened to Alex interview James this morning on BB. This first one is essentially a teaser as Alex has seen #2 and #3 of 5 and he says the next two are devastating. From what it sounds like, maybe tomorrow on #2 as they are letting the current one boil a little getting the NYT to issue more essentially false statements as to the actual position inside that their first statement tried to allude to. James put the hammer to that lie this morning during the interview. He even asked for some release advice from Alex and that is where the tomorrow decision was made as James was inclined to release #2 today.

It is good to see that James is taking some advice from Bannon and the gang. All the sacred cows are now starting to be gored. James also did not specifically ask for donations but instead is now focused on getting more citizen insiders to help setup the next stings of the entire establishment apparatus.

The problem I see is that you need to ‘fire’ the guy...but he’s likely got emails of directions given to him from the management. So he’s sitting there and grinning. The management will have to pay him off....I’m guessing in the range of 7-figures. His opportunities in life? Totally gone with journalism...so I think he’ll ask for a minimum of three-million. They will have to pay it though....to end this story.

But there is this other part of the story...will they apologize now for the stories that he was connected to? If not...Trump can pull this out and talk about it for weeks.

I agree with you. This is basically SOP for Breitbart and they are the right ones to seek advice from.

The drip, drip, drip technique keeps the enemy sweating.

Breitbart has exploded in the past couple years because they aren’t necessarily focused on politics as much as culture. Like Andrew Breitbart always said, politics is downstream from culture.

He will become an instant hero of the left, and his opportunities will multiply.

The NYT said the O’Keefe interview violated the Times’ “ethical standards”?

I’ll be honest...I’m all broke up about that (ROTFLOL).

The ways the first two sentences read it appears to claim that project veritas was behind the planned parenthood videos. Were they?

It's called investigative journalism, baby, and it's been so long since the NY Times has done any investigative journalism they have forgotten what it looks like.

James O’Keefe is the Upton Sinclair of the digital media age.

LOL! You mean like the “poor” cbs attorney who lost her job? I got no doubt she’ll be just fine. She may already have gotten another 6 figure job someplace. If not, maybe she’s once again curled up in the fetal position weeping into her lap top as she was past midnight election night. The saddest part. She stupidly voiced what the majority of the libs think about trump supporters. Dumb pick up truck drivin’ red necks that like C&W music. WRONG!

As long as so many ‘conservatives’ continue to buy this product, no major changes can be expected. As we see with the NFL, the only way to get through to them is through the pocket book. So many people still buy this yellow rag and the excuses are the lamest of the lame. ‘My parents read it for decades’, ‘I like to see what the opposition is thinking’, ‘the crossword is great’, etc. All the while, not caring that they are personally funding anti-American propaganda..

Is the NYT reeling in the same way as the White House in engulfed by chaos? In other words, is the headline a right-wing wishful thinking projection, just like the left-wing feeds us their wishful thinking projections?
