... The United States has played nine qualifying matches (three wins, three losses and three draws). But it all comes down to tonight: on the road against Trinidad and Tobago. "This is what all players want," said defender DaMarcus Beasley, "a chance to qualify for the World Cup. But the game that actually does it."

They will all stand at attention for the NATIONAL ANTHEM.
It’s not a gimme game because the USMNT has had a history of playing down to their opponents at times - but if they’re playing their on game, they should win.
...or not..............
"I would love to seeone of these hotshot teams from Europe come here and play in our CONCACAF qualifying, to really get a taste of this and see what that’s about," Arena said on Monday, ahead of Tuesday's U.S. qualifier against Trinidad & Tobago. "This is very challenging. This is like survival of the fittest. They could do one of those TV shows on this. Who will survive in the end? That’s basically what this is."

Go TEAM USA! Sam’s Army since 96’!
Don’t tell me: Soccer will fill the vacum the NFL created.
LOl no, that wont happen. I wish, but realistically, no.
“It’s not easy. Nothing’s given to you,” Pulisic said Monday of the qualifying gauntlet. “You go out on the road and play in tough conditions. [Tuesday] isn’t not going to be easy in Trinidad. You never know what to expect, that’s what I’d say. You’ve got to be ready for whatever.”
More "globalism".
Pulisic seems to be our best player. That’s a problem. That 2002 team with Landon Donovan was much better than this team. Heck those teams in the 90s were arguably better too. I feel like we have regressed. And it looked promising for a while with Donovan and Dempsey. It seems like our defense is full of Jeff Agoos’s nowadays. I expect we win and move on. But that doesn’t really say much
What a waste of effort. Soccer is a poor man’s game played by rich professionals. It is like paying high salaries for good scissors-stons-paper professionals.
