According to some articles, there is already such a rule. False reports?

I agree mrsmel.

They knew. They’re giving the 11 year old excuse, “Oh I didn’t know.” It ranks right up there with, “Everyone else does it.”, “Her mom let her go.”, and “Everyone else has one.”

Too late - I now know how the NFL players feel about me and my country.

That's how I feel too... Watching these people stand for the National Anthem when I know they hate our country doesn't work for me. The NFL needs to hire Americans who take pride in their country and their teams.

Would the NFL put up with players who openly made it known they hated their team, their owners, coaches and the city they played in? I don't think so.

They already have a rule that requires standing with hand on chest.

Write it into their contract.

If 'love of country' or even 'respect of country' has to be written into their contracts then eff football... Rename it thugball and move it to prison yards so gamblers can still place bets on it.

But to leave it as an "American sport'?

Hell no.

REAL football players only kneel when they get their head smashed-in.

I predict that in 5 years we will have half of the college football teams we have today for lack of players.

Someone needs to tell the NCAA, who it seems can't promote schools to DI-A fast enough.

If you need a rule to force them to stand, they aren’t voluntarily and proudly standing.

It is in the stadium ‘Operations Manual’ which is a non-public guide to making the game experience more similar in the different stadiums. It’s just a reprint of the same general anthem protocol used everywhere in public life. It is not in the NFL Rule Book.

A proposal will be that proper anthem protocol will be in each and every player contract, as done in the NBA.

Doubtful if it will happen, because most owners are New World Order elites with hate for American exceptionalism.

They don’t call it the “National Felons League” for nothing.

+1
It really bothers me when I see those on our side continuing to support entertainers who show disdain for our nation’s ideals and for our culture.

MY MINIMUM DEMANDS:

1. Fire Roger Goodell, replace with Curt Schilling or his designee.

2. All 32 NFL owners appear on-camera simultaneously, on their knees, apologizing profusely and solemnly promising #3.

3. Rigorous enforcement of a half-season unpaid suspension for a first offense, with immediate termination for a second, of any player or team employee who disrespects in any manner this country, its anthem, its military, or its law enforcers, in public at any game, including linked arms and all demonstrations other than reverence; permanent public blackballing of Colin Kaepernick.

4. $25 million donation per team to wounded veterans' organizations.

5. Termination from ESPN of Jemele Hill and its and Disney's presidents.

If any other demands occur to me, I'll make them plainly.
