Rush,

If the Corker tape is what all 52 Republican Senators think about working with Trump, then I think it's time for President Trump to fire Elaine Chao. He doesn't need pillow talk in the McConnell household sharing White House plans.

I do recognize that doing so would be the spark that lights the final stick of dynamite that blows up his relationship with Congress, but that relationship has proven to be a façade and he's gotten no benefit from having McConnell's wife on his team.

I heard Congresswoman Diane Black on Hugh Hewitt this morning talking about all the legislation passed in the House that is bottled up in the Senate. She said it’s the Senate that needs daycare and Cathy McMorris Rogers agreed when she later spoke to Hewitt.

Rush,

Two days ago, Matt Boyle wrote at Breitbart.com The League of Extraordinary Candidates: Economic Nationalist Leaders Plan for Anti-Establishment Midterm Tsunami to Force Change.

Conservatives and economic nationalist leaders are looking past the current dysfunction in Washington to a group of new and exciting young candidates throwing their hats in the ring nationwide to break the gridlock with midterm election victories.

This group of individuals, which some are calling “The League of Extraordinary Candidates,” is emerging nationally—a distinct slate of U.S. Senate and House candidates, as well as key gubernatorial contenders, all united in their focus on breaking the logjam in Congress. Movement leaders view establishment Republicans and Democrats alike as a force blocking, slow-walking, or stonewalling the agenda that President Donald J. Trump campaigned on, and aim to elect new voices by riding a new economic nationalist electoral wave in 2018 meant to mirror and surpass what happened in previous wave elections like 2010—which saw the rise of the Tea Party...

Two weeks ago, I posted this:

The other meme I've observed to be increasing in usage, especially when referring to hero helpers from Harvey and Irma, is "ordinary Americans."

I presume this is meant to set us apart (and beneath) the coastal media and DC elites.

We are the "ordinary Americans" the MSM dismisses.

Steve Bannon wants to create the "League of Extraordinary Candidates." Let's mobilize the "Electorate of Ordinary Americans" to help them take back Washington!

Rush, you just told the caller that you have to get involved. What about you? What are YOU going to do in the 2018 primary season to help Steve Bannon get his candidate slate voted into Congress?
