There actually are reasonable steps that could be taken to much reduce these mass killings. They are well documented.

I can see that you are trying to point out positive things, reining-in an out-of-control MSM, but using Australia as a model for reasonable steps towards maniac-control is a bad idea.
Australia is an example of where a free country went from gun “buy-backs” (here now: as if the state sold you the gun, now they want it back) to offering “amnesty” to “gun criminals”.
Australia is now the bumper sticker come true: only criminals have guns. This is America, where citizens have a God-given right to keep and bear arms.
