I think this one cost me $500 or $600. Worked very well.

Canoe and kayak trailer

Don't put it on the roof if you ever plan on running for office.

You will be accused of cruelty to kayaks and never hear the end of it.

Get a kayak trailer. Get it as clos to the water as possible. Lift kayak and slide it into the water. Easy.

well, first i’d make sure the conundrum doesn’t break.
2nd, you used cute twice and that reduces your options, which pretty much means, I’m sorry to say, that there is no help for you.

Well I have probably failed at life in general then, and for that, there is no help.

And one thing besides the rack you’ll need are a set of wheels:

https://www.austinkayak.com/outlet/products/14621/Harmony-All-Terrain-Replacement-Tires-Pneumatic-Discontinued.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping:%2520ACK%2520PLA&adpos=1o4&scid=scplp14621_12167_2&sc_intid=14621_12167_2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0YOb9Inl1gIVTYBpCh0cqgHeEAQYBCABEgIM2vD_BwE

Those go inside while you’re in the water.

Here is the kayak holder I got (for the back support - one surf rack for the front):

Not sure. Probably because he couldn’t get upright.

A duckie is an inflatable boat about the size of a kayak. Don’t try to use a kayak without some training. It might be smart to start with a duckie first as they are safer.

To expand:
Kayak trailer or flat bed trailor. Kayak transporter which is basically a light dolly made with pvc. A small diy project.
Park anywhere and use the dollyto get it to the water. Easy.

Join some free online dating site. Put in profile “looking for kayaking buddy, must be able to lift (my) Kayak to top of Jeep or be able to back up jeep with a trailer” when interviewing candidates, have overly protective men lurking about. If at all possible have them cleaning guns and/or looking eager and ready for violence. State clearly that their lifting and hauling your stuff does not obligate you to do anything to their stuff. Things get weird (or weirder as the case may be) tell them you think it’s time to date (only) other people and find another one.

Believe it or not there are plenty of guys (or girls one supposes) that would think it would be a fun adventure, with no strings attached.

Thanks. There is a lot of them now. I was looking at CastleCraft.

There's a California small company that makes a trailing arm trailer, but I can't find it now.

Obviously everyone was bored but you can all see my point: News/ activism would quickly become full of nonsense if everyone did this. Maybe I should post the chicken fajita recipe I found today...

“Maybe I should post the chicken fajita recipe I found today...” OMG!!! I thought those where extinct due to globull warming. Its a miracle, you have to post this to news/activism & Breaking/Front Page Immediately. Can I help you copy write this before we publish this long extinct recipe (is your copy fossilized?). For the copy right, legal fees, and county migration fees due to fat Canadian birds coming here and eating & pooping everywhere. Will include a comprehensive marketing package that will get you 2 million in sales.

Thanks for your time!

Here’s my crazy idea. You get a single crossbar roof rack. You get a t-rack into the hitch receiver. Then you put an electric winch with a remote control on the front bumper to help you drag the kayak up there. And probably a folding step stool to get up and tie it down, but the winch does the heavy lifting.

I’m sure there are some details to work out, like how to have the winch rope/cable wrap around the top of the nose, assuming the winch mounted on the front bumper, but something to think about . . .

Here’s a cheapie baby winch.
