Californians by a wide margin oppose sanctuary cities. A UC Berkeley study codified these findings for the reading public, as a nearly 80% of respondents from all political leanings opposed policies forbidding cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities. Why should anyone be surprised? These sanctuary city policies amount to nothing more than dangerous posturing from desperate, self-serving, predominantly Democratic politicians.

I believe that Californians of all stripes are sick of what illegal immigration has done to the state. That's why this 80% figure shows up here.

What baffles me, is that Republicans do not capitalize on that figure to garner votes.

It is very simple. The GOP is part of the DC UniParty. There is currently no two-party system in any state.

The DC UniParty consists of the GOP, RATS and MSM, doing the bidding of the K-Street Lobbyists like the Chamber of Commerce. Bring in cheap labor, keep the donations rolling in and maintain power.

California’s only chance, like all the other states, is a new political party, separate from both the GOPe and the RATs, based on the US Constitution and the sactity of the Representative Republic.

To quote Donald Trump, “What have you got to lose?”
