It’s Chicago, so there must be some law about the AR15. Irrespective of there being an actual crime committed (other than the traffic violation), it makes no sense to me that they have already dismissed the possibility of terrorism.

They were carrying without a CC permit...If no permit. Should have had any firearms field dressed, locked in trunk, with any ammo locked separately away from firearms and in trunk.
Given the history with pressure cookers at marathons and fact that we just had a mass shooting, these people were either idiots, up to no good, or both.

I’ve been stopped for speeding at least 50 times in my life. None of those resulted in the cops finding something in my car that was not in plain sight. I don’t get this story.
