Basically, the football player (and other football players) were shoving an autistic student. This diminutive cheerleader stepped in the way to stop it.
For that, she was hit multiple times and ended up in ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
Criminals are supposed to be arrested. But I guess football players are the exception in Louisiana.

I believe this happened in the school cafeteria.
Regardless, it happened during school time. Not before or after.

This football program needs to be dismantled for the rest of at least this year and possibly the next while they figure out how to teach the young thugballers not to hit women or bully students - and make it stick. Keep the program closed down until they do.
