I heard they REFUSED to protect the guy cuz he didn’t kneel along with the rest of them.

They were “teaching him a lesson”.

Viewing that gives the NFL trackable viewer stats they can use to generate advertising revenue. Why are you helping the NFL?

And in the process is giving the NFL countable views that they can spin as “people are watching football” and therefore use to deny the effectiveness of the boycott - as well as show to advertisers to retain or expand their ad payments.

“Look at how delayed the receivers were to the snap on the last play.” On the second play how did the defense know how to set up???

Carr is out with a fractured back and a black qb is now running things.

Would be next to impossible to say for certain the line allowed those sacks.
Looking at the video I’d say they didn’t.

Is better to play in a sandlot football game than watch the pathetic NFL.

Is the NFL kind and natural or unkind and unnatural?

The NFL was unnaturalized many years ago, like our military and country.

“Why are you helping the NFL?”

Some are hopelessly hooked to the dope. Even freepers. No will power to kick the drug.

Some are hopelessly hooked to the dope. Even freepers. No will power to kick the drug. I'm afraid not. I don't watch the NFL and earnestly desire their fall. I don't watch a minute of their games. Why post this? Because if the black players on a team are collaborating for sacks to their own quarterback, because he did not join their protest, it undermines their veracity -- undercuts their fan support. DESTROY THE NFL!

Lighten up, Francis.

The NFL boycott is going strong, and watching this particular video isn't going to help the league in any tangible way.

Indeed, it's much more likely to damage its credibility even further...

How does viewing a video on Youtube that doesn’t contain any video elements provide advertising data to the NFL?

i know nothing about football so let me insert my foot in my mouth here (why not, everyone loves a conspiracy theory here on FR... where we are all friends, right? ha).

anyway, imho sack four is an obvious hiker (#61) error. he hiked the ball, and the receivers just stood at the line instead of running deep.

this is a fundamental error. was #61 asleep in the huddle when the QB told everyone the hike signal? then #61 hangs forward instead of backing closer to the QB. #61 is effectively neutralizing himself by remaining in an excellent position to block... absolutely no one.

As for the receivers, they are all hanging back for about 1 second. it seems faster on the slo mo replay, but i measure it at about 1 second. that is not very long. in addition, they all come alive and run forward at almost the exact same (delayed) time relative to the hike. that would be very difficult to synchronize if it were deliberate, so i believe that it is not deliberate. so i give the receivers a “pass.”

anyway, IMHO the hiker’s action is enough.

if i were a bookie... well, i thank providence that i am not.

the qb should figure out a convincing back soft tissue injury that would allow him to sit out this season with a fig leaf of impunity. better than risk neck down paralysis or permanent disabling brain injury just for a political difference of perspective.
