While the incident is so bizarre it’s almost hard to believe it happened, as the wider picture fills out of what Harvey Weinstein is like around young women he feels attracted to, the account seems to me completely credible. I still find my jaw dropping in near disbelief, I knew studio mogul types might be bad but to just start playing with his privates in front of a journalist suggests that he is truly in the grip of demented and addictive compulsions. I’m now only surprised he did not become a porno producer, but somehow he managed to make himself into a famous Hollyweird “independent movie” produce of semi-artsy films.
